Product description

Logic level converter - bi-directional, 4-channel. The module allows communication between systems using popular voltage levels of 5V and 3.3V, it also works with voltage levels of 2.8V and 1.8V. Converter used in communication, for example, with bluetooth, GSM, or GPS modules, or between microcontrollers.

It works in both directions simultaneously, that is, it can lower 5V to 3.3V and raise 3.3V to 5V at the same time. This feature is useful in bidirectional communication protocols such as SPI.

Product features

  • The module has goldpin leads, allowing it to be connected to any runner kit or dedicated circuit board using available wires.
  • Application for contact boards, runtime modules, arduino, etc.
  • Universal module that will match voltage levels.

  • 5V - 3.3V level converter
  • Works in both directions simultaneously.
  • Lowers 5 volts to 3.3 volts and raises 3.3 to 5 volts at the same time.
  • This feature is useful in bidirectional communication protocols such as SPI in full duplex mode.
  • The pinouts are goldpin connectors (2.54 mm raster). Thanks to them, it is possible to connect the circuit to a contact board or a master module (e.g. Arduino)
  • The dimensions of the converter are 15 x15 mm.

Connecting

  • For proper operation, it is enough to connect the power supply of the two systems to be converted.
  • The higher voltage (5V) should be connected to the lead (HV: high voltage - 5V), the lower one to LV: low voltage - 3.3V
  • Grounds are connected to the leads marked GND.
  • The logic signals should be routed to the other leads - respectively, higher voltages on the 5V side, e.g. HV1, and lower voltages on the 3.3V side, e.g. LV1
