IC - ULN2003ADR ULN2003A SOP-16 in a form suitable for SMD surface mount. The Darlington circuit is a popular and widely used IC in devices where inductance control is used.
It is adapted to work with such devices as electromagnetic relays, backlighting systems in displays, LED control systems and others. The circuit has seven pairs of NPN transistors (Darlington transistor array) with high output voltage, as well as diodes with a common cathode for switching inductive loads. A remarkable advantage of the circuit is the possibility of parallel connection of single pairs of transistors thereby increasing the current capacity, which for one pair is 500mA. An additional convenience is the use of 2.7kOhm resistors for each pair to pair directly with 5V CMOS TTL circuits.
The chip is designed specifically for use with PMOS devices from 14 to 25V. Each input has a Zener diode and resistor to control the input current to a safe limit.
