5V to 10A/250V relay module - with optoisolation for Arduino - 2 channels

Description

Universal 5V relay module with optoelectronic isolation for 10A/250VAC. The circuit allows you to control the actuators using the ports of the microcontroller or any runner kit.

The module is supplied with 5V to the corresponding VCC and GND pins.

Thanks to the use of opto-isolation, the current consumption of the channel is minimal, so you can easily control the microcontroller.

The operating status LED of each relay channel indicates that the relay is switched on.

The module is switched on by applying a low LOW state, and therefore ground to the signal inputs IN1, IN2.

The relay can be used to build a simple unloader.

Product features

  • Module equipped with two SRD-5 relays with coil powered by 5 V with optical input isolation.
  • The module allows you to control two actuators drawing up to 10 amps each using the ports of a microcontroller or any Arduino development kit
  • Opto-isolation separates the control signal from the relay power supply part, thus ensuring the safety of the control system operation.
  • Application for contact boards, runtime modules, arduino, etc.
  • For proper operation, all you need to do is connect the relay power supply and the digital control signal.
  • Application examples:
    • Lighting controller
    • Controller of executive systems
    • Switch for electrical equipment including motors
  • The module has:
    • lED power signaling
    • lED indication of relay status
    • Activation of the relay with the LOW state

Technical data

  • Two channels of operation
  • VCC supply voltage: 5 V
  • SRD-5VDC-SL-C relay (documentation) - 2 pieces
  • Coil voltage: 5 V
  • Input voltage: from 3 V to 5 V
  • Maximum contact voltage: 250 VAC 30VDC
  • Maximum current: 10 A
  • Plate dimensions 48x27x20 mm

Connecting

przekaźnik 5V 10A - arduino
  • The module has four input leads VCC, GND, IN- and IN+.
  • In order for the circuit to work properly, it is necessary to connect
    • 5 V power supply to the VCC pin
    • ground to GND
    • input signals to IN1 and IN2 (first and second channels).
  • Thanks to the use of optical isolation, the input voltage can take a value from 3 V to 5.5 V.
  • The jumper allows you to select the state with which the relay will be switched on:
    • Jumper between VCC and JD - relay switched on
    • Jumper between VCC and JD - relay channel test (relay is not switched on)

Your previous questions regarding this product
Sz. State, Sorry, but there are significant errors in the descriptions! It is also a big mistake not to include diagrams of at least the control connections - for both variants. And the attached video is just awful - is it supposed to be anti-advice and anti-advertising? The description clearly and repeatedly suggests opto-isolation, which is not true - opto-isolation is an option - only if you properly connect power and control after removing the jumper: separate 5V power supply of the coil circuit ++ to JD-VCC and -- to GND (any, but better left), 3.3-5V power supply of the control circuit ++ to VCC (any, but better right), control outputs (OC or voltage) to IN1/IN2, do not connect the control circuit to any pin of GND or the coil power supply to the other VCC! option with common power supply (without isolation): put a jumper on JD-VCC and VCC, supply 5V ++ to VCC and -- to GND (any), control outputs (OC or voltage 3-5V) to IN1/IN2. The module has four input leads VCC, GND, IN- and IN+ --> The module has seven input leads: JD-VCC VCC GND GND IN1 IN2 VCC In order for the circuit to work properly, you need to connect the 5 V power supply to the VCC pin ground to GND input signals to IN1 and IN2 (first and second channels) --> This is a variant without separating the circuit power supply, both connection possibilities described correctly above. Due to the use of optical isolation, the input voltage can take a value from 3V to 5.5V --> It is impossible to switch 5V relays using a 3V supply -- 5V is required to power the coils, while the control outputs (MCU power supply) can be both 5V and 3V or OCs. The jumper allows you to select the state with which the relay will be switched on: Jumper between VCC and JD - relay switched on Jumper between VCC and JD - relay channel test (relay is not switched on) --> No - jumper is used to connect or separate power supply circuits of the controller and relay coils. The test mode is achieved by disconnecting the power supply to the coils: with a common power supply by removing the jumper or also disconnecting -- the power supply from GND (leaving JD-VCC de-energized), with a separate power supply by disconnecting the power supply from JD-VCC, for example. Sorry - it grosses me out, maybe others do too. Moreover, what a role model? This error is repeated in many descriptions. Greetings,

Gdy brak nam mocy, czyli tranzystory i przekaźniki
