Thermal fuse made in a hermetic metal housing with axial leads. Activation of the fuse occurs when the ambient temperature exceeds the melting point of the safety element and then after the melting point, the coil springs are unwound and the electrical connection is broken. Fuses are disposable, once they are tripped they must be replaced with new ones.

The temperature fuse is suitable for a wide variety of applications, such as:

  • household appliances (e.g. irons, coffee makers, rice cookers, toasters, refrigerators)
  • household appliances (such as air conditioners, fans , humidifiers , electric heaters)
  • personal hygiene devices (such as hair dryers, curling irons, razors, shavers)
  • commercial electrical equipment ( copiers , laser printers , fax machines , power strips)
  • electrical components (such as transformers , solenoid valves , AC power supplies)
