The 130-class engine and MT78 type, which is the most popular type of mini engine, makes it suitable for use as a replacement in, for example TT D65 drive kit.

These motors operate over a slightly wider range of supply voltages from 1.5 to 3.5V
This range makes them ideal for control via Arduino chips powered by a low voltage of 5V
The engine fits geared drives
Thanks to its low current consumption, this motor can be powered from the same source as the control electronics.
A DC motor controller can also be used to control these motors - Controller module L298N
