The chip can be connected to a microcontroller via the I2C or SPI bus.

I2C interface: apply a logical one to the CS pin or pull up CS permanently to the supply voltage. The device address on the I2C bus depends on the state on the SDO pin. In case of high state it has the value: 0x1D , in case of low state: 0x53. Details in the documentation and tutorial.
