- C - Ash, Fir, Oak, Maple, Cherry, Elm
- D - Larch, Pine, Birch, Linden
Wanting to measure an unlisted wood species, you need to choose a similar group with similar hardness.
Measurement results can be affected by tree species, grain direction, temperature and depth of placement of measurement probes
