It is possible to connect more modules to form an LED display. We also offer 8x8 LED matrix modules alone, as well as a module of combined 4 modules forming a 32x8 display.

Product features

  • The kit includes an 8 x 8 LED matrix display with MAX7219 drivers
  • The MAX7219 control chip communicates through three wires so there are no problems connecting to AVR and Arduino modules.
  • LED matrices are special displays with led diodes that make it possible to create low-cost graphic displays with large diagonals.
  • The control circuit allows cascade connection - one behind the other - so we can build a large display controlled by three wires.
  • Module with input and output interfaces, support for multiple cascade modules
