Inverter based on MC34063A for input voltage of 3.6-36V. Output voltage adjustable. The circuit can operate as a step-up, step-down, or reverse polarity converter depending on the parameters of the coil.

In this configuration, the inverter operates as a Step-Up.

To change the mode of operation, it is necessary to replace the coil with the values given in the MC34063A chip catalog note:

Step -Up 170 uH

Step- Down 220 uH

Additional information

The inverter has a precise multi-turn potentiometer for adjustment, which does not work on the full scale of adjustment, but only in a certain part of it. If the inverter does not respond to turning the potentiometer, please turn the potentiometer until you feel a slight mechanical resistance to one side or the other.
