Thermostat STC-3028 - Humidity and temperature controller

The STC-3028 humidity and temperature controller (thermostat) is a solution for use in a wide range of projects wherever it is necessary to control the humidity and temperature of the air at the same time, for example: in warehouses, production halls, drying rooms, greenhouses or museums.

• The controller has two LED displays - a red one on which temperature is displayed and a blue one on which humidity is displayed.
• Above the displays there are LEDs whose light informs about the switched relay and thus the operation of the corresponding circuit.
• The thermostat has a heating/cooling option depending on the configuration as well as a hygrometer dehumidification/irrigation function depending on the configuration.
• The thermostat has a control relay at its output, which, depending on the state of operation, opens or closes its contacts, thus controlling any operating circuit, which is roughly comparable to the operation of an ordinary ON/OFF switch.
• Thermostat does not output voltage.

• Cooling function - Set the initial temperature (up arrow) higher than the final temperature. If the temperature read by the sensor is higher than or equal to the start temperature then the relay turns on and the cooling device operates. If the temperature is less than or equal to the final temperature (down arrow), then the relay will disconnect and the cooling device will stop operating until the temperature reaches the initial temperature again.
• Heating function - The start temperature (up arrow) must be lower than the end temperature - then the heating device turns on. On the other hand, if the measured temperature reaches a temperature equal to or greater than the temperature set as the final temperature (down arrow), the heating device will turn off.

Restore factory settings

If an error occurs, the display shows "Er", or the controller hangs up, you can restore the factory settings by holding down the 1 and 2 - down arrow button.

STC3028 error descriptions:

• Sensor Error: The controller activates the sensor alarm when its circuit is open, or shorted. The controller stops working, and signals the error with the message "LLL" on the displays - the module has no buzzer. When the fault is cleared, the controller will go into normal operation mode.
• Temperature/humidity range: When the temperature / humidity exceeds the measured values, the controller stops working and indicates the error with the message "HHH" or "LLL" on the display. When the temperature is within the permissible measurement range, the controller will return to normal operation mode.
