USB type C to TTL UART 3.3V/5V serial converter - CH340E - alternative CH340G module
- Looking for a USB type C to TTL UART 3.3V/5V serial converter? This module on the CH340E chip, compatible with USB V2.0, is the ideal solution for you. It not only works with 3.3V and 5V devices, but also emulates a standard UART interface, is used to p
USB type C to TTL 3.3V/5V serial converter - CH340E

Module on CH340E chip, works with 3.3 and 5V devices. The converter finds its application in places where a serial port is used for communication, viz: GPS,GSM, Arduino chips, routers, decoders, etc.
- The converter has a CH340 programmer for which you need an additional controller, which is below.
The converter is also used for programming some microcontrollers, such as Arduino. The original serial applications are completely compatible.
Technical data:
- Power supply: 5V , 3.3V
- USB interface compatible with USB V2.0.
- Emulates the standard UART interface, used to update serial peripherals, or expand the UART interface via the USB bus.
- Hardware full duplex UART interface, built-in transmit/receive buffer, supports baud rates from 50bps to 2Mbps.
- Supports MODEM RTS, DTR, DCD, RI, DSR and CTS common link signal.
- Through an external level conversion circuit, it provides an additional interface for RS232, RS485, RS422, etc.
- CH340R supports SIR infrared communication according to IrDA criterion, supports transmission rate from 2400bps to 115200bps.
- CH341 compatible software
- Dimensions: 16x18mm
- Raster: 2.54mm
If you want to use the converter to upload a program to an Arduino or similar circuit, you should reboot the entire external circuit (reset button on the Arduino PCB) immediately after compilation (and at the beginning of uploading). This is how the programming sequence is defined, with an unrestarted microcontroller the program may not be uploaded.
Or use the DTR pin by plugging it into the RST Arduino, then this action will be triggered automatically.
