TDS-3 water quality tester is designed to test the purity of water and additionally measures its temperature. Measures the total amount of all dissolved substances in water PPM. For results greater than 999 ppm, the symbol [x10] appears on the reader. The memory function allows you to save the measurement for later reading, while giving an audible recording signal.

• Built-in electronic thermometer will measure temperature from 0°C to 80°C or 32°F - 176°F.

The water quality meter is easy and convenient to use with a very wide range of applications, you can use it to assess the water in the tap, aquarium, pool, river, etc. through which it will greatly facilitate the work of water treatment, or the addition of the appropriate amount of substances.

If the properties of the tested water do not change for 3 minutes, the device stops operation and after 10 minutes of inactivity, it automatically shuts down.

Measurement is made at the level of water conductivity therefore the amount of dissolved salts can be examined. Crystalline pure water does not conduct electricity and as dissolved substances increase, ions appear in the water. The more both anions and cations, the better the conductivity of the current. Such devices as a water tester give the result in ppm, or mg of substance per ml of water.

• Water 0-170 PPM is ideal for consumption.
• 170-500 PPM water is medium quality water.
• Water 500 PPM and above is contaminated water.
