Multifunctional energy, current and voltage meter, will quickly and easily show us how our power system is behaving and what currents are being drawn by our consumers in the model.
We will receive reliable information about the condition of our batteries and the fit of the drive train in the model.
The information you get when you hook up between the battery and the ESC controller:
- measurement of the total voltage of the battery under varying load conditions - (we will find out how the voltage on the battery drops when we load it)
- measuring the current drawn - as above , we can check the capacity of our battery (whether it really has as much C as stated)
- measurement of the energy consumed (MOC) by the drivetrain - we will find out if our drivetrain is optimally sized
- the above measurements carried out over time will show how the battery behaves as a function of time (discharge parameter)
