Li-Ion battery capacity meter
The capacity meter allows you to check the capacity of batteries such as Ni-Mh, Ni-Cd, Li-Ion, Li-Pol, Li-Fe, Pb, and others from 1V to 15V.
To run the test, connect the resistor to the "R" connectors and the battery to the IN+ and IN- connectors. The tester operates on 5V, it is powered by a micro USB connector.
The display alternately shows the current voltage, discharge current and number of mAh discharged. The + and - buttons are used to set the minimum voltage to which the connected battery is to discharge and stop the discharge process.
An additional advantage is the automatic detection of the connected battery, how to adjust the discharge current to it - for example, a Ni-Mh battery with a voltage of 1.2V will be discharged with a current of no more than 500mA (320mA with the included resistors) to a voltage of 0.5V, and a lithium pack with a nominal voltage of 3.7V will be discharged with a current of 2A. The higher the voltage the higher the possible discharge current max 3A.
You can also calibrate the device.
